Orgless and HAVU are the first two semi-finalists of the FLASHPOINT Global Qualifier after topping their respective groups on Tuesday.
The best-of-three stages of the Global Qualifier began with an all-Americas showdown between Orgless and DETONA for the top spot in Group A. The Brazilian team had pulled off an incredible upset in the opening round against BIG - ranked more than 100 places above them in the world -, but they were simply no match for the Canadian side, who saw four of their players end the two-map series with 1.30+ ratings.
After that match, it was time for Nordic teams to take the stage as Copenhagen Flames and HAVU, two sides separated by five places in the rankings, locked horns in Group B's winners' match. René "TeSeS" Madsen put in a career-high 2.54 rating to help the Danes cruise to a 16-2 victory on Overpass, but HAVU battled back with hard-fought wins on Train and Nuke to clinch passage to the semi-finals.

The FLASHPOINT Global Qualifier, which is being held at FACEIT's studio in Los Angeles, will resume at 18:00 with six teams, including BIG and Chaos, still in contention for the last playoff spots. The winners of the semi-final matches will be granted spots in the league, joining the ten franchise partners.
